Who we are
Southern Asia Bible College (SABC) is the premier theological institution of the Assemblies of God in Southern Asia. Established in 1951, SABC has been functioning for the past 75 years raising generations of leaders for the global Church as pastors, teachers and missionary evangelists.
Today SABC has grown to be one of the leading theological institutions in the Pentecostal Evangelical tradition in Asia with over 300 students. More than 5000 alumni of SABC serve in various ministries throughout Southern Asia and other nations of the world.

SABC offers degrees that are Accredited by the Asia Theological Association, an International evangelical Institution part of the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education.

Graduate Programs
Doctor of Ministry/
Doctor of Christian Leadership
D.Min. is offered as an inservice program, those who have completed an accredited Master of Divinity may apply. This program prepares women and men for leadership roles in Christian churches and organisations. D.Min. is accredited by the Asia Theological Association and may be completed in about 4 to 5 years.
DCL is similar to the D.Min. program with similar academic rigour and requirements. offered to those who may not have all the necessary academic qualification, however are engaged in leadership ministry roles. The degree is offered by SABC.
Master of Divinity
M.Div. is a three year fulltime postgraduate degree program that offers a well-rounded preparation for Christian miniostry and leadership.
Those with a UGC approved bachelors degree (BA, BSc, BCom, BE…) with a clear call for ministry are eligible to apply.
Those who have completed a BTh program accredited by ATA with minimum GPA of B grade may apply for the MDiv upgrade(2 years).

Master of Arts in Christian Ministry
MACS. is a two year fulltime postgraduate degree program that offers specialization in preparation for Christian miniostry.
Those with a bachelors degree (BA, BSc, BCom, BE…) with a clear call for ministry are eligible to apply.

Financial Information
Students fees include tuition, room and board. While it costs almost Rs. 3.5 lakhs per students per annum, no student is charged this fee. All students receive substantial financial subsidy.
In addition to the subsidy provided to all students, thanks to our partners, the college is able to provide financial aid to many students in the form of awards and work scholarships.
