Who we are
Centre for Global Leadership Development (CGLD) is the premier institution for developing leadership for the Church and marketplace. CGLD is an institution of the Assemblies of God in Southern Asia. Established in 1951, as the Southern Asia Bible Institute, for the past 75 years raising generations of leaders.
CGLD includes the following schools:

Southern Asia Bible College
Southern Asia Bible College (SABC) is the premier theological institution of the Assemblies of God in Southern Asia. Established in 1951 for training pastors, teachers and crosscultural-evangelists, SABC has raised more than 4000 ministers that are serving in Southern Asia and around the world.
An institution accredited by the Asia Theological Association, SABC offers the following programs:
Doctor of Ministry (D.Min)
Master of Divinity (M.Div.)
Master of Arts in Christian Studies (MACS)

Global School of Open Learning
What began in 1997 as the Distance Learning Department of SABC, today serves more than 2000 students all over India and accross the world as the Global School of Open Learning (GSOL). The strongly mentor based distance learning programs are offered both in the Print media as well as eLearning blended modes.
GSOL offers the following programs:
Master of Divinity (M.Div.)
Master of Arts (M.A.)
Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.)
Diploma in Theology (Dip. Th.)
All the programs offered by GSOL are accredited by the Asia Theological Association.
Global School of Counselling
Global School of Counselling (GSC) is the unity of CGLD that offers specialised training in psychological counselling. GSC is affiliated to the Bengaluru North University, a UGC approved state university.
The following courses are offered by the GSC:
Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Counselling Psychology
Bachelor of Arts (B.A) – Psychology, Journalism and English
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) – Psychology, Computer Science and Environmental Science
Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.)
Students have the option of completing Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) as a dual degree along with the above degrees.
CGLD School of Counselling
The CGLD School of Counselling, established by the Centre for Global Leadership Development, is committed to equipping individuals to function as competent counselling psychologists. Our mission is to address the need for trained, professional, and licensed counsellors, who are inspired by the compassion of Christ and aim to bring healing and wholeness to a broken and distressed society.
We are an accredited academic partner with the Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong (MLCU) to offer diploma and degree programmes in counselling psychology. We provide supervision, research guidance and facilitate internships for our students. As an accredited member of the Christian Counsellors Association of India (CCAI), we are committed to delivering credible services in both counselling practice and traininng
