About Us
The CGLD School of Counselling, established by the Centre for Global Leadership Development, is committed to equipping individuals to function as competent counselling psychologists. Our mission is to address the need for trained, professional, and licensed counsellors, who are inspired by the compassion of Christ and aim to bring healing and wholeness to a broken and distressed society.
We are an accredited academic partner with the Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong (MLCU) to offer diploma and degree programmes in counselling psychology. We provide supervision, research guidance and facilitate internships for our students.
As an accredited member of the Christian Counsellors Association of India (CCAI), we are committed to delivering credible services in both counselling practice and training.

The mission of the school is to identify men and women who have a deep commitment to follow Christ and develop them spiritually, emotionally and intellectually to serve as care-givers in the world that is stressed by the challenges of the contemporary life-style and professional choices.

To provide quality education and training in psychological counselling at the post-graduate level.

Our Programs
Post Graduate Diploma
in Counselling Psychology
This is a one year onsite or 20 months blended eLearning program that caters to full-time students as well as working professionals.
The program blends together Spirituality as well as sound psychological theory to bring the best practice to Counselling Psychology. The curriculum is approved by the Martin Luther Christian University for lateral transfer into the second year of their Master of Science in Counselling Psychology program.
Those with or without a background in psychology are eligible to apply for the program including theological graduates.

Master of Science
in Counselling Psychology
This is a two year onsite or 3 years blended eLearning program that is offered in collaboration with the Martin Luther Christian University.
Those who have completed the PG Diploma in Counselling Psychology program at CGLD School of Counselling are eligible to apply for the lateral entry into the MSc program.
CGLD School of Counselling provides the necessary supervision and guidance for research, internship and practice in order to complete the program.
